List of participating athletes
New for 2002: All entries must be made on-line at Regatta Central by June 7. We used it last year for several summer regattas and it worked well. It's easy and free (i.e. no extra cost). For on-line entry at Regatta Central, you'll follow these easy steps:
Schuylkill Navy Regatta, #4 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
The Regatta will be conducted in accordance with USRowing rules of racing. This is a USRowing registered regatta.
Masters events and novice singles are 1000 meters. All other events are 2000 meters.
The Regatta start time is 9:00 a.m. The order of events is fixed and will not be changed. Heats, if required, will be run before the first final in the same order as the finals. In 2001, we had 4 heats before beginning finals at 9:32.
Weigh-ins will be from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. at #4. Lightweight men - 160 max, no averaging. Lightweight women - 130 max, no averaging. Same for masters.
All entries must be made on-line at Regatta Central Friday, June 7. Entries received after this date will be accepted on a "lane available" basis and, if accepted, will incur a $10.00 late fee. The printed Regatta Central invoice, entry fees and competitor waivers are due on Wednesday, June 12, 2002.
Entry fees: Singles $15.00, Doubles & Pairs, $30.00, Quads & Fours $45.00, Eights $55.00.

Framed Diplomas of Victory will be awarded to the clubs of all winning clubs. Composite crews and unaffiliated scullers are not eligible. Winners of all events will be awarded Schuylkill Navy medals.
Call Dona File at 215-242-1560 if you have any questions.
Last year's schedule is our best pre-race guestimate of this year's schedule.
Late entries will be accepted on a lane available basis, with a $10 late fee.
Masters crews are reminded of the rule requiring them to report any line-up changes in writing not less than 2 hours prior to the start of the race. This allows the regatta committee time to recompute the age handicap and announce it to the other competitors prior to the start of the race. Violators risk disqualification.
