How to Enter
- On-line entry deadline. All boats must be entered at Regatta Central
- Payment deadline: includes printed invoice (from Regatta Central), signed waivers (which name Schuylkill Navy as insured party), and payment.
- Schuylkill Navy Regatta - June 10
- Independence Day Regatta - June 30
- Philadelphia Youth Regatta - July 16
For USRowing members with a VISA card, you can have a paper-free entry: Enter boats and pay with your VISA card at Regatta Central. Individual USRowing members now may sign a waiver only once per year for all USRowing-registered regattas, including the Schuylkill Navy, Independence Day and Philadelphia Youth Regattas. Regatta Central will confirm waiver compliance by verifying each entrant's USRowing membership number with USRowing.
You really don't need to read beyond here. Just go to Regatta Central and follow the steps there. But if you get lost, below might be helpful.
All entries must be made on-line at Regatta Central. We've used it for two years now and it works well. It's easy and free (i.e. no extra cost). For on-line entry at Regatta Central, you'll follow these easy steps:
- Log in - you'll create your own user ID and password the first time
- Click on "Add a regatta to my calendar" under My Calendar.
- Select a regatta from the drop down list.
- Click on "I will be submitting entries for this regatta" options box.
- Finish this step by clicking on the "Add to My Calendar" button.
- There is a box on the left. Under "Entries", select "Registration". Fill in all the information requested.
- The next step is to create your entries. You can either create the team roster first, then select athletes from it as you create entries, i.e. boats, or you can simply enter the athletes as you create entries and those listed athletes then populate your team roster.
- Special note: Ignore the "began rowing" and "USRA #" fields in setting up your roster. They are optional and we don't need them.
- Add entries, assigning team members to boats.
- In the "Entries" field, there is a drop down list for multiple boats.
- Return to "My Entries" to review your work
- Pay by credit card OR print your invoice and mail it, along with your payment and signed waivers for each competitor, to the address that appears on the invoice.
- Individual USRowing members now may sign a waiver only once per year for all USRowing-registered regattas, including the Schuylkill Navy Regatta, Independence Day and Philadelphia Youth Regattas. Regatta Central will confirm waiver compliance by verifying each entrant's USRowing membership number with USRowing.
- Athletes are encouraged to fax their annual waiver to USRowing and ensure that their USRowing member number is included with their roster record in Regatta Central. Coaches who submit entries for their athletes are encouraged to update their rosters and make sure each athlete's USRowing member number is included in the roster.
- Signed waivers must be mailed for all non-USRowing members by the payment deadline, even if you are paying by credit card (and therefore don't need to send a printed invoice and payment).
