Note: Entries close at 5:00 p.m. Wed., October 26, 2005. All entries must be on an official entry form (entry forms may be photo copies). No phone entries will be accepted. Calls for information may be made to Mr. Ken Shaw, Jr. at 215-698-2200, Ext. 101 at the following dates and times only. October 17th through October 21st from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Entries received will be accepted WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. If your entry cannot be accepted, you will be notified by phone.

Classification

Note: The Regatta Committee has decided that Master races will be handicapped 2 seconds per year based on boat average age. Age is as of the regatta date. Substititions for those entered must be made known to the Regatta Committee 24 hours prior to the race.

Limits: There will be six Entries for each Section, each Event is limited in size. Events will fill as entries with proper payment are received. Once an Event is full, additional Entries received will be placed on a waiting list. Notification will be given to all crews whose entries have not been accepted. The Regatta Committee reserves the Right to row Sections according to level of competition in those races with more than six Entries. Winners of all races will be awarded medals.

Race results will be posted at the finish line and at the Canoe Club within minutes after each race. Results will be posted on the Schuylkill Navy web site automatically and continuously throughout the regatta. Tell your parents and friends to look for your race results from home during the regatta at http://www.boathouserow.org.

The Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta name and logo are the property of the Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta. Anyone selling T-shirts or other items using the Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta name or logo will be prosecuted. Any school, alumni organization, etc who uses the Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta name or logo without permission of the Frostbite Regatta Committee will be banned from future Philadelphia Frostbite Regattas.

REGISTRATION is not required if entries, waivers, and payments have been received by October 26, 2005 deadline. Regatta information and programs will be available from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2005 at #4 Boathouse Row, Kelly Drive, Phila., PA. and Saturday, November 13 @ 8:00 am at the Canoe Club parking lot.

BOW NUMBERS with proper lane assignment are the responsibility of each organization, or school. The Schuylkill River has lanes 1 to 6.

SIGNED U.S. ROWING RELEASE AND WAIVER FORMS WITH THE ORIGINAL WITNESSED SIGNATURES must be provided for every rower and coach in the Regatta. Minors (under 18) must use the PARENTAL RELEASE AND WAIVER FORM, requiring the signature of a parent or legal guardian. Any rower or coach without a RELEASE AND WAIVER FORM will not be permitted to row. Waiver forms may be duplicated.
