Official Row for the Cure results More Row for the Cure pix on row2k, courtey of Anna Zhilkova. Last year we raised more than $20,000 to fight breast cancer. Help us beat our goal of $30,000 this year.

Join us on Sunday, October 10, from 9:00 am to noon for the Row for the Cure on the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park.

Our Row for the Cure is a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with 75% of all proceeds going to the Philadelphia affiliate and the remainder to the national Komen organization.

Although Row for the Cure is a fundraiser, it is an equally important way to celebrate survivors, memorialize those we have lost, and embrace all families.

With our event, we strive to:

  • Support those affected by breast cancer
  • Raise funds to honor the promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure
  • Work toward a world without breast cancer by engaging youth in the fight
For anyone who is familiar with the discipline and complete reliance on teammates required in rowing and dragon boating, you can appreciate why we believe that rowing and paddling are such appropriate symbols for what is necessary to win the battle against breast cancer.

In addition to races with rowing shells, dragon boats, canoes, and kayaks, we’ll have family fun and lots of the latest information and research on the fight to cure breast cancer.
