Our Row for the Cure is a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with 75% of all proceeds going to the Philadelphia affiliate and the remainder to the national Komen organization.
We need your help in getting to our goal of $30,000.
Here’s how you can support the Row for the Cure:
- Be a contributor: Make a donation. To donate to the Row for the Cure, go to our fundraising page.
- Be a fundraiser: Get your family & friends to contribute on your name. We’ll have prizes for the top fundraisers. Our fundraising page will walk you thru the process, and there are instructions below. Once you’ve become a fundraiser, send a message to your family and friends. Follow the Invite Others to Contribute link and email your family, friends and co-workers, inviting them to check out your cause.
To become a fundraiser for the Row for the Cure:
- Go to our fundraising page and click on “Become A Fundraiser” at the top of the page, just underneath the Row for the Cure logo.
- Log-in or create a Log-in.
- On the “Create Your Fundraising Web Page”, either use the default title it offers or edit it if you want, and fill in something (like your name) in the “Create your web address” window.
- Next is Customize Your Fundraising Web Page. You can make changes here or skip it and customize later. We suggest you scroll down to Set a Goal and enter a Goal Amount ($100?). This puts a goal thermometer on your donation page.
- There are additional tabs at the top of the page to Change Layout Design and Set Color Schemes. At the bottom, either Preview or Save & Finish.
- I set one up for Jackie Lees in less than 5 minutes, while I typed these instructions between steps! You can see it at http://www.active.com/donate/snrowforthecurephila/jackielees. Feel free to donate towards Jackie’s goal!
